Care4u2 has been given an opportunity to work with a Humanitarian Aid Agency in Turkey – IHH, to help Syrian Refugee families with special needs children. So far 200 families have been identified in one district alone. There are many more families in other districts and possibly other countries too. We will be working with Al – Imdaad and other organisations as well to help with basic needs for these families over and above the specialised assistance that is required for each child. These projects will be ongoing.
According to UNICEF, there are 2.1 million children with disabilities in South Africa. In excess of 600 000 of them have no access to schools and many are taken care of by either single or child headed households. Your contribution can make a difference in the day to day functioning of these individuals, thus enriching their lives.
